Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Drift down the rapids of Rubicon River in a kayak, and going for a hike on the Rubicon Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Squaw Valley has splendid slopes and a friendly staff; get yourself into a kayak and hit Yuba River - South Fork. If you need a place to stay Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn is a delightful choice. Hell Hole Reservoir gets much water; the       month with most of the rain is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hell Hole Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. For the duration of the long summer days at Hell Hole Reservoir highs are frequently in the 80's, and the night is quite colder of course, usually in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Hell Hole Reservoir.                  This lake is so wonderful. Big Meadow is right here at Hell Hole Reservoir, and Hell Hole-In Campground is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Squaw Valley Lodge, and lakes are such calm locations, why not visit Hell Hole Reservoir. And that's not everything you can do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A stunning lake like Bunker Lake in the vicinity of Hell Hole Reservoir is a tremendous spot to explore; close by you locate the Hunters Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. Why not camp at Hell Hole Campground while you're here at Hell Hole Reservoir, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Parsley Bar Trail.
