After a long day outdoors Days Inn Bishop is a brilliant location to spend a night or two; Midnight Lake is a nice lake close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. If you came for an overnight       stay Sabrina Campground is a great location to camp, and you simply must stop at Darwin Glacier if you're here at Hell Diver Lakes. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Hell Diver Lakes, too nice to be true. Darwin Creek is a tremendous local stream, and a fine place for whitewater paddling is San Joaquin River - South Fork. Hell Diver Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Kings River                  Trail, and you can run the rapids of Kings River - Middle Fork. Hell Diver Lakes is pretty dehydrated mostly; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is June. Going for a hike on the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section is always a brilliant adventure, and there are other places here than Hell Diver Lakes, for example Blue Heaven Lake. At Hell Diver Lakes during the summertime months highs are in the 90's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Hell Diver Lakes are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
