If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Helen Lake. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Helen Lake; during January this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. So many cool things to do here in the Southern Cascade Range, too pleasant to be true. Man, is there a heap of amusing stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range. If you need a place to stay The Woodsman Hotel is a great choice, and float down the rapids of Sacramento River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Helen Lake you can take a hike along the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail. Summertime at Helen Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is | |

somewhat chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's; night lows in the 20's for Helen Lake.
Green Butte is clearly visible from Helen Lake, and while you're here at Helen Lake it's
a pleasant idea to check out Hidden Valley. Going for a hike along the Castle Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; why not camp at Panther Meadows Campground if you're here at Helen Lake. This lake is
so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Strawberry Valley Inn, and if you came for an overnight stay McBride Springs Campground is a great spot to camp.
Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Don't leave Helen Lake
without first paying a visit to Sulphur Springs, and while you're here at Helen Lake, checking out Bolam Glacier is a must.
