     California has many beautiful lakes and Helen Lake is one of them. This site is peerless, just look at all the amusing stuff to do close to Helen Lake. Get drenched paddling on Sacramento River; hey, Gotta ski right? Mount Shasta is a nice site to do that. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Southern Cascade Range. On a beautiful day you acquire a view of Green Butte from Helen Lake, and do put some time aside to  
   spend at Sulphur Springs if you're here at Helen Lake. All through the summer months at Helen Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Helen Lake are in the 20's.
Sisson Lake is a pleasant lake right next door to Helen Lake, and Hidden Valley is a scenic spot any time of year. Strawberry Valley Inn is a
 
               perfect place to get some rest. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Southern Cascade Range. A wonderful lake like Clarence King Lake near Helen Lake is a tremendous spot to visit, and dry warm beds await you at The Woodsman Hotel.
This lake is so wonderful. Helen Lake is right by the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail; Panther Meadows Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Bolam Glacier is a good place to visit while in the region, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Crags Trail. The annual rain here at Helen Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest month of the year is July.
Helen Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Helen Lake; Castle Lake Trail is a glorious local trail, and Helen Lake is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, McBride Springs Campground is a glorious site to camp nearby.
