dry warm beds await you at The Woodsman Hotel. This lake is so wonderful. Helen Lake is right by the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail; Panther Meadows Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
Bolam Glacier is a good place to visit while in the region, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Crags Trail. The annual rain here at Helen Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest
month of the year is July. Helen Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Cascade Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Helen Lake; Castle Lake Trail is a glorious local trail, and Helen Lake is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, McBride Springs Campground is a glorious site to camp nearby.

While it was not anything special or out of the ordinary, the staff was friendly and accomodating and the atmosphere was very family friendly.
