Heart Lake is a nice lake to visit. On a magnificent day at Heart Lake you can take a hike along the Crags Trail. There's so much to do here at Heart Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Castle Lake Campground is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Sacramento River for all you adrenaline people, and Heart Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Siskiyou Camp Resort is a
good local campground. Around Heart Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. For the period of the months of summer, highs
mostly are in the 80's at Heart Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. During the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 40's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Heart Lake fall into the 20's.
