Very picturesque scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Mt Waterman; people from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious location to camp here at Hazard Reservoir is Saddleback Butte State Park; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Dragon Gate Inn. This lake is so wonderful. It is very dried out here at Hazard Reservoir regularly;       February is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Mount Wilson Trail; if you're here, you could also go to wonderful Ascot Reservoir. Why not camp at Teresita Pine since you're here at Hazard Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Los Angeles/Alhambra is a fine site to spend a night or two. Summertime at Hazard Reservoir comes                  with high temperatures in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 60's; overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Hazard Reservoir tend to be in the 40's. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Idlehour Trail, and do take a hike on the Stone Canyon Trail.
