At Haypress Reservoir throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, generally in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Haypress Reservoir fall into the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. From Haypress Reservoir you obtain       a delightful panorama of Whitleys Peak, and nearby you find Toyon Bay. Camping is available at Two-harbors, and time spent at Gallagher Beach is always great. On a wonderful day you can have a look at Bannings Beach next to Haypress Reservoir, and close by Gallagher Canyon is a great place to go. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Catalina Island Golf Course is close at hand, and a nice close by hotel is Hotel St. Lauren. After a long day                  outdoors The Avalon Hotel is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and Wishbone Loop is an exciting spot to visit while at Haypress Reservoir. What a place this is for outdoors people. Why not camp at Avalon's Hermit Gultch since you're here at Haypress Reservoir, and a tour to Torqua Spring will fill your soul with good feelings.
