Haypress Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. West Walker River is a great whitewater spot close to Haypress Lake, and the skiing at Dodge Ridge is good. For the period of the summer at Haypress Lake highs are regularly in the 60's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Haypress Lake overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.

| | This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. If you came for an overnight stay Deadman Campground is a wonderful place to camp, and naturally Deadman Creek is a delightful stream that is worth checking out. So many exciting things to do at Haypress Lake, so little time. After a long day outdoors Bear Valley Lodge is a great location to spend a night or two; hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13 is pleasant fun.

Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors cool things. Pinecrest Chalet is a tremendous place to get some rest; sites like Haypress Meadow are good to visit. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
Haypress Lake is right by the Silver King Trail; camping at Haypress Lake is nice fun, Baker Campground is a nice local campground. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Corral Valley Trail, and you can run the rapids of Stanislaus
River - Middle Fork.
A lot of rainfall falls at Haypress Lake; throughout January this area sees the most snow; July meanwhile is the driest month.
