All year is a glorious time in the Coast Ranges if you have a thing about the outdoors. Camping is available at Dillion Creek Campground, and the Clear Creek National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best. Whitewater paddling is nice on Hurdygurdy Creek, and one of the main highlights of the surroundings of Harrington Lake is Baldy Peak. During the days of summer highs here at Harrington Lake get into the 60's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures

| | drop down into the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Harrington Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Trace Creek, and Harrington Lake is right by the Summit Valley Trail. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. Lake is in the vicinity of Harrington Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Shady Bend RV and Mobile Park is a great place to camp; do take a hike on the Elk Camp Ridge Trail. Harrington Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; during the month of December you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is July.
