Hardin Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. Through the months of summer highs here at Hardin Reservoir get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Hardin Reservoir are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lassen Pines RV Resort is always a       great experience; do put some time aside to spend at Knox Spring while you're here at Hardin Reservoir. Whitewater paddling is nice on Pit River, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Rose Quartz. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more fun things to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Camping is available at Lava Campground; there are other places here than Hardin Reservoir, for example Bagwell Reservoir.
