There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Pit River, and Lassen Pines RV Resort is a tremendous campground nearby. Hardin Reservoir is located in the Southern Cascade Range. While you're here at Hardin Reservoir, you could also go to delightful Bagwell Reservoir. For the period of the summertime months at Hardin Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 80's,       and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Hardin Reservoir. Stay the night at Lava Campground; Best Western Rose Quartz Inn is a nice place to get some rest. The yearly rain here at Hardin Reservoir is about average; December is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful.
