Hammerhorn Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; most of the rain falls through January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Klamath Mountains. Stay the night at Little Doe Campground. Going for a hike on the French Trail is always a perfect adventure; glide down the rapids of Black Butte River in a kayak. Hammerhorn       Lake is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. And if that's not enough there's a load more entertaining stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. Go for a hike on the Soldier Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Eel River - Middle Fork. Yeah, come here to Hammerhorn Lake for a glorious time. Beaver Creek flows through this area, and Hammerhorn Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Hammerhorn Campground is a fine place to camp nearby. This                  lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Willits is a brilliant choice, and Dewell Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. High temperatures at Hammerhorn Lake through the long summer days are in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Hammerhorn Lake tend to be in the 30's.
