In California there are many beautiful lakes, Hammerhorn Lake is one of them. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black Butte River, and you can stay the night at Little Doe Campground. From a rainfall point of view Hammerhorn Lake is a reasonably common place; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that rains the most while July is commonly the driest month. you locate the French Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Barney Meadow is a nice place, and the Smoke Howe Trail is a magnificent hiking trail
nearby. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Klamath Mountains. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Hammerhorn Lake temperatures are usually in the 90's. For the period of the dark
hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Hammerhorn Lake.
