It's always fun to stop by Hamilton Lakes. So much entertaining stuff in the neighborhood of Hamilton Lakes, simply astonishing. The panorama of delightful Eagle Scout Peak near Hamilton Lakes is wonderful, and magnificent hiking is available along the Sawtooth Pass Trail. That right there is lots of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Southern Sierra Nevada has it all. Kern River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you came for an overnight stay Cold Spring Campground is a great spot to camp.
