Not far from Halsey Afterbay, you'll stumble on Halsey Forebay which is a picturesque lake; North Fork Dam is a site that is close to Halsey Afterbay. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing       stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Best Western Golden Key is a wonderful site to get some rest; in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on American River - North Fork.
