This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There's so much to do here at Halsey Afterbay that you need to camp here for a while, Bowman Mobile Home and Park is a delightful place for that; there are other sites here than Halsey Afterbay, for example Halsey Forebay. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of American River - Middle Fork close to Halsey       Afterbay; a great site to stop by close by is Christian Valley. Halsey Afterbay is a wet place that gets much rainfall; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Halsey Afterbay is not far at all from Sacramento—Arden-Arcade—Roseville. All year is a brilliant time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you go for the outdoors. If you came to camp Auburn Koa Kampground is a brilliant site to do that,                  and get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of American River - North Fork. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Halsey Afterbay. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Halsey Afterbay. Clipper Creek is a stunning stream that is worth stopping at, and not far from Halsey Afterbay you'll stumble on Halsey Afterbay which is a picturesque lake. So many amusing things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too fine to be true. If you need a location to stay Quality Inn Auburn is a good choice, and Black Oak Golf Course is a pleasant golf course close by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
