Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Dry warm beds await you at Travelodge Of Auburn; not far from Halsey Afterbay you'll come across Halsey Afterbay which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. At North Fork Dam close to Halsey Afterbay there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and soar down the rapids of American River - North Fork in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. A great deal of       rainfall falls at Halsey Afterbay; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. Halsey Afterbay is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. After a long day outdoors Best Western Golden Key is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Black Oak Golf Course. Man, is there loads of enjoyable things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's so much to do                  here at Halsey Afterbay that you need to camp here for a while, Auburn Koa Kampground is a brilliant site for that; nearby you locate wonderful locations like Christian Valley. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too good to be true. There are plenty of people from Sacramento—Arden-Arcade—Roseville here at Halsey Afterbay, and get yourself into a kayak and hit American River - Middle Fork. Through the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at Halsey Afterbay, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Halsey Afterbay dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
