This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. Halsey Afterbay sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the duration of the summertime at Halsey Afterbay temperatures are usually in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with       highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Halsey Afterbay are in the 20's. Man, is there a load of cool stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Halsey Afterbay is near North Fork Dam which is a gorgeous place positively worth stopping at, and close by you find good spots like Christian Valley. There's whitewater on American River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline people, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Golden Key. That right there                  is a heap already, but it goes on; Halsey Afterbay has it all. There are some splendid whitewater spots on American River - North Fork, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Auburn is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. You absolutely ought to like the Northern Sierra Nevada. Stay the night at Auburn Koa Kampground. Lakes are perfect; Rock Creek Lake is a lake that's near Halsey Afterbay. This lake is so wonderful. At Halsey Afterbay you always meet someone from Sacramento—Arden-Arcade—Roseville. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Black Oak Golf Course not far from Halsey Afterbay, and you're probably keen on lakes, Halsey Forebay is one of those nearby.
