Lakes are magnificent; Halsey Forebay is a lake that's near Halsey Afterbay, and camping is available at Auburn Koa Kampground. Halsey Afterbay is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. At Halsey Afterbay throughout the warm months highs are in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and through the dark       hours in the winter at Halsey Afterbay temperatures descend to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to stumble upon some smiling people from Sacramento—Arden-Arcade—Roseville here. This is a nice area for folks who like lakes. Halsey Afterbay is a lake close by; you can take a little journey to North Fork Dam if you're here at Halsey Afterbay. A great deal of rain falls at Halsey Afterbay; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the                  driest of the months is July. All year is a tremendous time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you fancy the outdoors. For you golfers we recommend close by Black Oak Golf Course, and camping at Bowman Mobile Home and Park is always a pleasant experience. This lake is so wonderful. Clipper Creek flows through this area, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Auburn is a splendid place to spend a night or two. American River - Middle Fork is a glorious whitewater spot near Halsey Afterbay; close by Christian Valley is a delightful site to go. So much amusing stuff to do at Halsey Afterbay, so little time.
