A journey to Muir Woods National Monument is worthwhile; there are nice spots to discover along the Pablo Point Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While staying at Hagmaier Pond South you could always look at Copper Mine Gulch; a day at Palomarin Beach is time well spent. A perfect close by hotel is Four Points By Sheraton       San Rafael, and one of the best things about this location is its proximity to Agate Beach. Hagmaier Pond South sees pretty high levels of precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is July. Nearby lakes? Sure, Kent Lake is in close proximity to Hagmaier Pond South, and the summit of Pablo Point can be distinguished from Hagmaier Pond South. Madrone Group Area Campground is a great local campground. You just                  can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area near Hagmaier Pond South has to offer. Through the months of summer here at Hagmaier Pond South, high temperatures typically get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's.
