If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Gumboot Lake. Mumbo Basin is a brilliant place to check out, and close by you hit upon the Sisson Calahan National Recreation Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. All through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Gumboot Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. for whitewater paddling is Trinity River - East Fork. Yeah, come here to Gumboot Lake for a pleasant time. There is a great hiking trail near Gumboot Lake called the Echo Lake Trail, as expected you could also pop by Upper Gumboot
Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Gumboot Lake is pretty dried out generally; December is the month that gets the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Camping is available at Castle Lake Campground;
the snow is great at Mount Shasta. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Gumboat Campground is always a brilliant experience.
