Gull Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is June Lake, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Sherwin Lakes Trail. Man, is there a lot of amusing things to do close to Gull Lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Gull Lake is close to the national average; January is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month of the year is June.

| | year at Gull Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Gull Lake are in the 0's. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Central Sierra Nevada is peerless! Gull Lake is not the only place nearby, Silver Lake is a nearby lake, and after a long day outdoors Snowbird Condos at Mammoths Canyon Lodge is a great location to spend | |

a night or two. Gull Lake is right by the John Muir Trail - section 2. There's so much to do here at Gull Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Reverse Creek Campground is a fine spot for that.
Now, you may imagine that's
a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Gull Lake has to offer, you can camp at Gull Lake Campground, and everyone nearby loves skiing
at Mammoth Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Places like Yost Meadow are fine to explore, and some nearby water includes Yost Creek. June Mountain is a good local ski area, and if you haven’t been to Devils Postpile National Monument,
you must schedule some time for it while you're here.
Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Take a hike on the Mammoth Rock Trail, and the view of pretty Reversed Peak is pleasant. This lake is located in the wonderful
Central Sierra Nevada. A great nearby hotel is Heidelberg Inn, and you can run the rapids of San Joaquin River - Middle Fork.
