And if that's not sufficient there's loads more enjoyable stuff to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. The Mount Whitney Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Guitar Lake, and camping at Symmes Creek Campground is always a good experience. At Guitar Lake through the warm months highs are in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. All       through the winter the highs are mostly in the 50's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Guitar Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. Not far from Guitar Lake, you'll find Hitchcock Lakes which is a charming lake. Guitar Lake is typically a quite dry place; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and October on the other hand is the driest. Near Guitar Lake you stumble on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11 which is a                  delightful hiking trail; if you wish for a little side spree, try Trail Crest. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Guitar Lake is unbeatable! A wonderful close by hotel is Best Western Frontier Motel, and a good location to camp here at Guitar Lake is Tuttle Creek Campground. Just can't get enough of the Southern Sierra Nevada. A range like the Sierra Nevada here at Guitar Lake is always lovely, and there are other sites here than Guitar Lake, for example Arctic Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Lone Pine is a great spot to get some rest, and a cool spot to explore is Keeler Needle. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful.
