You'll need more than a day to explore everything Guajome Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sunrise Terrace RV Park, and if you've had enough of Guajome Lake, Little Libby Lake is close by. And       if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do right next door to Guajome Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Escondido Creek offers some great whitewater, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Pilgrim Creek Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos come to Guajome Lake. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Guajome Lake get                  into the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Guajome Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Clark Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Oceanside. Guajome Lake gets very little rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain while July is typically the driest month.
