Why not stop by Grouse Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Yosemite National Park is a fine national park; camping is available at Big Sandy Campground. Grouse Lake gets lots of water; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Central Sierra Nevada is great! Very pretty

| | scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Badger Pass, and get covered with water paddling on Big Creek. Summertime highs at Grouse Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are typically in the 40's, and overnight lows through the winter for Grouse Lake tend to be in the 20's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. | |

Take a side journey to Crescent Creek; a nice nearby hotel is dnc -- Wawona Hotel. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Grouse Lake without first going for a hike along the Chilnualna Fall Trail; in all probability you're looking
for close by lakes? Sure, Crescent Lake is just a very short distance away. Having a glorious time at Grouse Lake is simple. Yosemite Lodge at the Falls is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and naturally, this is a brilliant region
for people who like lakes, Chilnualna Lakes is a lake in the vicinity. The Buena Vista Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not camp at Fresno Dome Campground if you're here at Grouse Lake. There's tremendous hiking along the Mono Meadow Trail, and whitewater paddling is fine on Merced River - South Fork.
