If you are traveling by, why not stop by Grouse Lake. Grouse Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month of the year is July. While you're here at Grouse Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Gardnerville Ranchos, and Bear Valley is a very popular ski area nearby. | | visit to Devils Creek is beyond doubt a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork, and do stop at Corrie Lochan, it's a picturesque lake. If only every site had this much outdoors cool things, what a great world it would be. staff. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do near Grouse Lake. Bear Valley Lodge is a brilliant site to get some rest. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra
Nevada for a nice time. A perfect close by hotel is Mountain Adventure Seminars; the Emigrant Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious location to camp here at Grouse Lake is Woods Lake Campground,
and nearby you locate nice places like Telephone Gulch. Summer at Grouse Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are generally in the 30's, and
night lows in the 10's for Grouse Lake. One of the principal traits of the surroundings of Grouse Lake is Deadwood Peak, and close by you discover the Charity Valley Trail which is a nice hiking trail. Be careful coming to the Northern
Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to go home again. Going for a hike on the Hawley Grade Trail is always a great adventure, and American River - South Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
