Green Treble Lake is a location that is quite dry ordinarily; most of the snow falls all through January, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There's glorious hiking along the John Muir Trail - section 2; perhaps you're looking       for close by lakes? Sure, Alpine Lake is just a very short distance away. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Don't leave Green Treble Lake without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12, and Sawmill Campground is a tremendous campground here.
