Tenaya Lake Campground is a wonderful campground nearby; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Half Dome Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Yosemite National Park is a splendid national park, and you can never get enough of the nice skiing at Badger Pass. Through the warm months, highs generally are in the 80's at Grayling Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight       lows in the 20's for Grayling Lake. Grayling Lake is a good place of typical rain; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest month of the year is July. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Upper Merced Pass Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Upper Pines Campground is a nice spot to camp. You truly have to fancy the Central Sierra Nevada. There's whitewater on Tenaya Creek for all you adrenaline                  people; after a long day outdoors dnc -- Wawona Hotel is a good place to spend a night or two. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Grayling Lake. You can run the rapids of Merced River - South Fork close to Grayling Lake, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Mono Meadow Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. These mountains rock, just look at all the cool things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. A nice close by hotel is The Ahwahnee; while you're here you can take a hike along the Clouds Rest Trail. Some nearby water includes Gray Creek.
