The beauty of Grassy Lakes is reason enough to stop by. So much enjoyable stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just unbelievable. Three Lakes Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. If only every location had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great world it would be. A good close by hotel is Bailey Creek Cottages; whitewater paddling is wonderful on Feather River - North Fork. A lake close by is Kellogg Lake, and close by you hit upon the Claremont

A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Grassy Lakes; the wettest month of the year is regularly January, that's the one that snows the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month. All through the warm days of summer here at Grassy Lakes, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's with night lows in the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here | |

is so wonderful. Grassy Lakes is a pleasant site to visit for more than one day, Caribou Crossroads Recreational Vehicle Park-Caf is a pleasant site to camp nearby, and Grassy Lakes is not the only place nearby, Three Lakes is a nearby lake.
