It's a splendid idea to check out Coal Creek, it's right next door to Grassy Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Quail Meadows RV Campground is a great location to camp. At Grassy Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Grassy Lake. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Coast

| | Ranges is peerless! Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Eel River, and Big Water Canyon is close at hand, and is a glorious place.
This lake is so wonderful. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Eel River - Middle Fork, and the sight of Big Chemise Knob is wonderful. Grassy Lake is located in the Coast Ranges. So much cool stuff to do here at Grassy Lake, too tremendous to be true. Lark Motel is a nice location | |

to get some rest; what would a spot like Grassy Lake be without exciting nearby highlights like Windy Point.
Howard Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Rodeo Valley is a tremendous spot to check out. This lake is
so wonderful. If you get bored of Grassy Lake, you could also visit close by Dead Cow Lake. The high level of precipitation makes Grassy Lake a quite wet place; during the month of January you get the most rain around here; the driest
of the months is July.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Coast Ranges has to offer. A splendid nearby hotel is Super 8 Willits; camping is available at Creekside Cabins and RV Resort.
