For the period of the warm months highs here at Grass Lake reach the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Grass Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Grass Lake, you'll find Camp Lake which is a stunning lake, and a glorious place for whitewater paddling is Kern River. At Grass Lake you don’t see much

You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Lone Pine, and getting to North Fork Lone Pine Creek from Grass Lake is trouble-free. Grass Lake is a beautiful lake in the Southern Sierra Nevada.
