     Good hiking is available along the John Muir Trail - section 1, and why not camp at Tenaya Lake Campground since you're here at Grant Lakes. Grant Lakes is a reasonably wet place commonly with a good deal of precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Central Sierra Nevada rocks! Go for a hike on the Tenaya Lake And Tuolumne Meadows Trail, and after a long  
   day outdoors The Ahwahnee is a good spot to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. Halfmoon Meadow is a fine place to check out; Tuolumne River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. For the duration of the warm months at Grant Lakes highs are generally in the 80's, and the night is a little colder of course, generally in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's while Grant Lakes night low temperatures through
 
               the wintertime are in the 20's. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Grant Lakes. The sights at Yosemite National Park will blow your mind; a pleasant spot to camp here at Grant Lakes is Porcupine Flat Campground.
The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. On a beautiful day you get a view of Colby Mountain from Grant Lakes; do visit Ten Lakes, it's a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are brilliant locations to look at along the Ten Lakes Trail, and paddling on Yosemite Creek is so much fun.
Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Grant Lakes. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. What would winter be without some skiing at Badger Pass, and Wegner Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Ten Lakes Pass is a nice place to have a look at close by, and if you need a location to stay dnc -- Wawona Hotel is a magnificent choice.
