    If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Grant Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. While you're here at Grant Lake you can take a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail, and while you're here why not visit Sawmill Canyon. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back over and over. Have a good hiking adventure along the John Muir Trail - section 2; going for a hike along  
   the Gaylor Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Yosemite Gateway Motel, and hey, Gotta ski right? June Mountain is a glorious location to do that. If you adore the outdoors, you'll fancy Grant Lake. Heidelberg Inn is a splendid spot to get some rest, and if you came for an overnight stay Aerie Crag Campground
 
               is a pleasant place to camp. It's a delightful idea to stop at Parker Creek, it's right next door to Grant Lake; Pine Cliff RV Resort and General is a magnificent campground here.
This lake is so wonderful. Very lovely scenery and great skiing is what you get at Mammoth Mountain; a great beach nearby is Navy Beach. It is very dry here at Grant Lake ordinarily; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and October is the month with the least moisture.
For the duration of the summer at Grant Lake highs are usually in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 30's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Grant Lake are in the 0's.
