This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Yosemite Gateway Motel. At Granite Lakes during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Granite Lakes sink into the 0's. Granite Lakes is pretty dried up regularly; throughout January this area sees the most snow, and October meanwhile is the driest month.

| | And that's not all the things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Stay the night at Sawmill Campground, and everyone nearby loves skiing at June Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here at Granite Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tenaya Creek. Granite Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. | |

So much fun stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada, just phenomenal. From Granite Lakes you acquire a perfect sight of Gaylor Peak; you're possibly addicted to lakes, Upper Gaylor Lake is one of those nearby. If you want a great time
in the great outdoors, just come on down to Granite Lakes. Granite Lakes is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Tioga Campground is a magnificent location to camp nearby, and of course, this is a good neighborhood
for folks who like lakes, Gaylor Lakes is a lake around here. Going for a hike along the John Muir Trail - section 2 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and after a long day outdoors Heidelberg Inn is a great
location to spend a night or two. Glacier Canyon is close to Granite Lakes and is undeniably a perfect spot to visit, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Gaylor Lakes Trail.
