A great nearby hotel is Yosemite Gateway Motel. At Granite Lakes during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Granite Lakes sink into the 0's. Granite Lakes is pretty dried up regularly; throughout January this area sees the most snow, and October meanwhile is the driest month.       And that's not all the things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Stay the night at Sawmill Campground, and everyone nearby loves skiing at June Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here at Granite Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tenaya Creek. Granite Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada.                  So much fun stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada, just phenomenal.
