Granite Lakes gets lots of water; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Granite Lakes during the warmest time of the year are in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Granite Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Salmon Summit Recreation

hike along the Boundary National Recreation Trail. Granite Lakes is located in the Klamath Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Sulphur Springs Campground is a great spot to camp, and a journey to Oregon Caves National Monument
is worthwhile. Be careful coming to Granite Lakes, you might not ever want to return home again. A great place in the neighborhood of Granite Lakes is Secret Valley, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Granite Lakes; Garden Gulch Trail is a nice local trail.
