     Granite Lakes gets lots of water; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Granite Lakes during the warmest time of the year are in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Granite Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Salmon Summit Recreation  
   Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something in close proximity to Granite Lakes? Green Granite Lake is in the neighborhood; a brilliant location for whitewater paddling is Klamath River. All year is a fine time in the Klamath Mountains if you like the outdoors. Pick-aw-Ish Campground is a glorious campground nearby; spots like Granite Meadow are good to take a look at. Nearby lakes? Sure, Tickner Lake is in the vicinity of Granite Lakes, and
 
               the vista of beautiful No Mans Mountain is great.
Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Klamath Mountains. Get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Wooley Creek, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Boundary National Recreation Trail. Granite Lakes is located in the Klamath Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Sulphur Springs Campground is a great spot to camp, and a journey to Oregon Caves National Monument is worthwhile.
Be careful coming to Granite Lakes, you might not ever want to return home again. A great place in the neighborhood of Granite Lakes is Secret Valley, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Granite Lakes; Garden Gulch Trail is a nice local trail.
