    The beauty of Granite Lake is reason enough to stop by. Yeah, come here to Granite Lake for a good time. Doe Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and from Granite Lake you acquire a tremendous sight of Eagle Peak. Granite Lake is one of the lakes here in the Klamath Mountains. An average amount of rainfall falls at Granite Lake; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July.
That right there
 
   is plenty of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Klamath Mountains has it all. All our national parks are wonderful sites to take a look at, and Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is no exception, and a good site nearby is Schuler Gulch. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Klamath Mountains. Summertime highs at Granite Lake commonly tend to be in the 90's, and the night is rather colder of course, frequently in the 50's.  
               For the period of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Granite Lake tend to be in the 20's.
Whitewater paddling is glorious on Coffee Creek; a good place to camp here at Granite Lake is Goldfield Campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Granite Lake; Deacon Lee Trail is a great local trail, and some close by water includes South Fork Little Lick Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Trinity River; Granite Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Goldfish Campground is a glorious local campground.
