Granite Lake is a nice lake to visit. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. There's so much to do here at Granite Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Stoney Point Campground is a good place for that. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Granite Lake is excellent! Going for a hike along the Deacon Lee Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; a striking lake like Gibson Lake is a great location

| | to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Gibson Peak is clearly visible from Granite Lake, and close by Long Canyon is a good site to go. Having a pleasant time in the Klamath Mountains is easy. A pleasant site for whitewater paddling near Granite Lake is Trinity River, and if time allows, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a national park worth visiting. You can run the rapids of Coffee Creek in the vicinity of Granite Lake, and lakes are such calm sites, | |
