     Granite Lake is a nice lake to visit. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. There's so much to do here at Granite Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Stoney Point Campground is a good place for that. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Granite Lake is excellent! Going for a hike along the Deacon Lee Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; a striking lake like Gibson Lake is a great location  
   to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Gibson Peak is clearly visible from Granite Lake, and close by Long Canyon is a good site to go.
Having a pleasant time in the Klamath Mountains is easy. A pleasant site for whitewater paddling near Granite Lake is Trinity River, and if time allows, Whiskeytown National Recreation Area is a national park worth visiting. You can run the rapids of Coffee Creek in the vicinity of Granite Lake, and lakes are such calm sites,
 
               why not pop by Seven Up Lake. Granite Lake is one of the lakes here in the Klamath Mountains.
If you came to camp Fawn Campground is a magnificent place to do that, and do set aside some time for Bear Basin since you're here at Granite Lake. Summertime highs at Granite Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, usually in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Granite Lake. The amount of rainfall that falls at Granite Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is July.
