For the period of the long summer days highs here at Government Reservoir get into the 80's; the overnight is a bit cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's; winter nights come with       lows in the 10's to Government Reservoir. Government Reservoir is a location that is reasonably waterless frequently; December is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at Pine Spring while you're here at Government Reservoir; camping at Big Sage Campground is always a tremendous experience.
