Alcohol Jacks Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit, and Government Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Bridge Campground is a good local campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Southern Cascade Range. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pit River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Chaos Crags Trail. Pit River
