You'll meet a lot of folks from Napa here, and dry warm beds await you at Brick House Bungalows. So many fun things in the vicinity of Goose Lake, absolutely inspiring. Go for a hike on the Lagunitas Fire Trail, and Goose Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is a great local campground.       This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Muir Woods National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and if you've had enough of Goose Lake, Lee Lake is close by. Summertime highs at Goose Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Goose Lake. This lake is so wonderful.                  Wildcat Mountain can be spotted from Goose Lake; if you need a place to stay The Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort & Spa is a splendid choice. The yearly rainfall here at Goose Lake is about average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain while July is typically the driest month. Going for a hike on the Bald Mountain Trail is always a tremendous adventure; Napa River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. A golf course right next door to Goose Lake is Indian Valley Golf Club.
