You'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Ake Reservoir near Goose Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Crane Mountain National Recreation Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Aspen Cabin - Fremont National Forest is a good campground nearby; a wonderful nearby hotel is Best Western Skyline Motor Lodge. Goose       Lake is a location that is quite dry regularly; December is the month that gets the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Goose Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the winter highs are usually in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Goose Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. Whohoo, so many fun things in one                  place! Goose Lake is so good! Do check out Enquist Reservoir next to Goose Lake, it's a gorgeous lake.
