If you are in Siskiyou county it's always a good idea to stop by Goodbye Lake. The Klamath Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area in the neighborhood of Goodbye Lake has to offer. There are other places here than Goodbye Lake, for example Echo Lake, and Cook and Green Campground is a fine campground nearby. High temperatures at Goodbye Lake through the days of summer are in the 80's. Once the

| | sun is down it descends down to the 40's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Goodbye Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Goodbye Lake is right by the Boundary National Recreation Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the Klamath Mountains has to offer. Hiking along the Low Gap Trail is nice fun, and Best Western Windsor Inn is a pleasant site to get | |

some rest. A short journey to Kangaroo Spring is always worthwhile; you can stay the night at Mid River RV Park. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Klamath River, and you
obtain a splendid view of Cook and Green Butte from here. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Goodbye Lake, you'll discover Lily Pad Lake which is a lovely lake, and the Horse Camp Trail offers hiking at its best. Goodbye Lake
is a good spot of normal rainfall; through December this area sees the most rain while July is typically the driest month. Having a fine time in the Klamath Mountains is painless. Elk Meadow is a magnificent location; whitewater paddling is good on Indian Creek Klamath Tributary.
