Gold Lake is a nice lake to visit. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Sierra Nevada. There is a perfect hiking trail near Gold Lake called the Butcher Ranch Trail, and you'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Round Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Royal Gorge is just what you need, and if you need a site to stay Deer Creek Inn is a splendid choice. Lakes Basin is a great place here at Gold Lake, and if you came for an

Be careful coming to Gold Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Gold Lake. While you're here at Gold Lake you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15, and enjoy a round of golf at Graeagle Meadows Golf Course. Gold Lake.
This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Chalet View Lodge; Yuba River - North Fork is a fine whitewater spot nearby. On a great day at Gold
Lake you can take a hike along the Deer Lake Trail, and Upper Salmon Lake Dam is a charming spot, absolutely worth stopping at.
But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Don't leave Gold Lake
without first paying a visit to Frazier Falls; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lavezzola Creek. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Gold Lake; the month of January is the wettest
with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Gold Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Gold Lake plunge into the 20's.
