Go to Gold Granite Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. At Gold Granite Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; night lows at Gold Granite Lake during the wintertime regularly drop into the 30's. A pleasant trip to Granite Meadow is a great way to spend an afternoon; going for a hike on the Garden Gulch Trail is always a great adventure.

enjoyable things to do at Gold Granite Lake, so little time. If you come at the right time of year, Wooley Creek offers some glorious whitewater, and if you've had enough of Gold Granite Lake, Blue Granite Lake is nearby. This lake
is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. Camping is available at Pick-aw-Ish Campground, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Klamath River.
