For the duration of the summer here at Goffinet Reservoir, high temperatures typically reach the 90's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Goffinet Reservoir descend into the 30's. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. You'll       come across a stunning lake called Henderson Reservoir near Goffinet Reservoir, and Kirtlan Camp white Meadows is a pleasant campground here. Castle Oaks Golf Club is a good golf course nearby; dry warm beds await you at Ione Hotel. You get a magnificent sight of Church Bell Hill from Goffinet Reservoir, and if you came for an overnight stay Far Horizons 49er Trailer Village is a pleasant location to camp. The amount of rainfall that falls at Goffinet                  Reservoir is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during January; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Cosumnes River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Golden Star Restaurant & Saloon is a glorious location to get some rest.
