Going to backpack up to it in two weeks. Will add more comments on it once we get there. Information says brook trout can be caught there. You can also catch brook trout in cattle creek along the way.

Backpacked up cattle creek and tried to make it to Glenberry lake, however my friend and I didn't allow enough time to get their. We plan on next year making it to the lake and setting up camp.

    Beautiful Glenberry Lake has much to offer visitors. So many entertaining things in the Central Sierra Nevada, just impressive. Here at Glenberry Lake you can spot Crater Crest, and a good site is Virginia Pass. There's great hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12, and Paho Campground is a nice local campground. Yeah, come here to Glenberry Lake for a brilliant time. Dry warm beds await you at Yosemite Gateway Motel, and you can run the rapids of West  
   Walker River.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Heidelberg Inn is a perfect choice. If you get bored of Glenberry Lake, you could also have a look at close by Tamarack Lake; the Gaylor Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Glenberry Lake is not the only location close by, Hoover Lakes is a close by lake, and Glenberry Lake is right by the Ten Lakes Trail.
This lake is located in the wonderful Central
 
               Sierra Nevada. It is very dehydrated here at Glenberry Lake mostly; January is when you get the most snow here; the driest month is October. Through the summertime months highs here at Glenberry Lake get into the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; nighttime lows at Glenberry Lake through the winter commonly sink into the 0's.
Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada. A delightful place for whitewater paddling near Glenberry Lake is Tuolumne River, and Glenberry Lake is a brilliant location to visit for more than one day, Doc and Al's Robinson Creek Resort is a brilliant location to camp nearby.
