Many people like to go to Glacier Lake. Throughout the long summer days at Glacier Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Glacier Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. Life's too short to enjoy all the
fun things in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11, and there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Sawtooth Pass Trail. You can run the rapids of Kern River near Glacier Lake,
and camping is available at Atwell Mill Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the High Sierra Trail is always a good adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Cold Spring Campground is always a great experience, and some attention-grabbing geology is available here, Lilliput Glacier is right here.
