The beauty of Glacier Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Glacier Lake reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Glacier Lake. Lakes are tremendous;
Avalanche Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Glacier Lake, and a good site for whitewater paddling is West Walker River. Near Glacier Lake you stumble on fine locations like Burro Pass; Glacier Lake is a great place to camp, Buckeye Campground is a great place.
