     Summertime at Glacier Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Glacier Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay The Ahwahnee is a good choice, and whitewater paddling is good on West Walker River.
Glacier Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. Going for
 
   a hike on the Gaylor Lakes Trail is always a pleasant adventure; camping is available at Buckeye Campground. So much amusing stuff close to Glacier Lake, absolutely incredible. A delightful location to camp here at Glacier Lake is Paho Campground, and get drenched paddling on Tuolumne River.
So many cool things in the Central Sierra Nevada, just impressive. You get a great sight of Finger Peaks from Glacier Lake, and close by you discover the Pacific Crest
 
               Trail - section 12 which is a wonderful hiking trail. Go for a hike on the Ten Lakes Trail, and Ice Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. Glacier Lake gets very little precipitation; through January this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is September.
Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Central Sierra Nevada. While you're here at Glacier Lake, you could also pop by gorgeous Avalanche Lake; a brilliant place to explore is Burro Pass.
