     The beauty of Glacier Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Glacier Lake gets very little precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; the driest month of the year is September. Man, is there a load of exciting things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Don't leave Glacier Lake without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section

You simply must have a thing about Glacier Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Glacier Lake; Ten Lakes Trail is a tremendous local trail; Paho Campground is a perfect campground here. You truly ought to go for the Central Sierra Nevada. Ruby Inn is a splendid spot to get some rest; Tuolumne River is a great whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You can observe Finger Peaks from Glacier Lake; there's wonderful hiking along the Gaylor

Lakes are tremendous; Avalanche Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Glacier Lake, and a good site for whitewater paddling is West Walker River. Near Glacier Lake you stumble on fine locations like Burro Pass; Glacier Lake is a great place to camp, Buckeye Campground is a great place.
