In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tenaya Creek, and camping at Beasore Meadows Campground is always a delightful experience. Having a brilliant time at Givens Lake is uncomplicated. dnc -- Wawona Hotel is a good place to get some rest; Yosemite National Park is a great national park. From a precipitation point of view Givens       Lake is a quite typical location; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while July is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. On a nice day at Givens Lake you can take a hike along the Mono Meadow Trail, and Givens Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Chiquito Campground is a good local campground. Givens Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. The Mist Trail is a great hiking trail close                  to Givens Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a glorious hiking trail close to Givens Lake called the Clouds Rest Trail, and a lovely lake like Hoover Lakes is a great place to check out. Merced River - South Fork is a glorious whitewater spot right next door to Givens Lake, and the top of Mount Bruce is easily spotted from Givens Lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada, too splendid to be true. After a long day outdoors Yosemite Lodge at the Falls is a great place to spend a night or two, and do explore Swamp Lake, it's a pretty lake. During the summer months here at Givens Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Givens Lake descend into the 20's.
