That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Gilmore Lake has it all. One of the best things about Gilmore Lake is its proximity to Baldwin Beach, and Dicks Pass is without doubt a splendid place to take a look at. Cracked Crag is a peak you can catch a sight of from Gilmore Lake, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14. A lake close by is Tallac Lake, and while       here here do have a look at nearby Kiva Beach. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Sierra Nevada. Very striking scenery and fine skiing is what you get at Sierra at Tahoe; you'll meet a lot of folks from Gardnerville Ranchos here. This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Kalmia Lake since you're here at Gilmore Lake; it's close by, and if you came for an overnight stay Bayview Campground is a great site to camp. Summertime at Gilmore                  Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the night is a little cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Gilmore Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley is a glorious site to get some rest; do take a hike on the General Creek Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Gilmore Lake. Eagle Falls Campground is a good campground nearby, and hiking along the Hawley Grade Trail is glorious fun. This lake is so wonderful. American River - South Fork has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and Tahoe Paradise Golf Course is a golf course nearby. The yearly rainfall here at Gilmore Lake is about average; most of the snow falls through January, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Having a good time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is painless.
