The yearly precipitation here at Gibson Lake is about average; December is when you get the most rain here; July meanwhile is the driest month. The vistas at Whiskeytown National Recreation Area will blow your mind, and do take a look at Granite Lake, it's a beautiful lake. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. Stay the night at Clark Spring Campground; places like Bowerman Meadows are nice to       stop by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Coffee Creek. There's so much to do here at Gibson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Stoney Point Campground is a tremendous place for that. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Gibson Lake reach the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 40's. Highs                  through the winter are typically in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Gibson Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot.
