Gibraltar Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. Having a brilliant time at Gibraltar Reservoir is simple. If you came for an overnight stay Lower Camuesa Campground is a delightful place to camp, and Quality Inn Santa Barbara is a wonderful place to get some rest. So many cool things right next door to Gibraltar Reservoir, truly striking. All through the warm days of summer at Gibraltar Reservoir highs are mostly in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the

| | 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Gibraltar Reservoir temperatures sink to the 30's. So much amusing stuff in the Santa Ynez Mountains, just mind-boggling. People from Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-Goleta love to come to Gibraltar Reservoir, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Santa Barbara Golf Club. most of the rain falls throughout February, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is one of the great places here in the Santa Ynez Mountains. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not pop by Lauro Canyon Reservoir
near Gibraltar Reservoir, and a visit to Gidney Flat rejuvenates the spirit. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Santa Ynez Mountains. Go for a hike on the Buckhorn Trail; close by you stumble on good sites
like Angostura Pass. Camuesa Creek flows through this vicinity, and Gibraltar Dam is not far at all from Gibraltar Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Lemon Tree Inn is a brilliant choice, and if
the weather is pretty, you obtain a good vista of Camuesa Peak from Gibraltar Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Middle Camuesa Campground is a brilliant local campground, and don't leave Gibraltar Reservoir without first going
for a hike along the Pie Canyon Trail. There are other sites here than Gibraltar Reservoir, for example Sheffield Reservoir, and going for a hike on the Tunnel Trail is always a brilliant adventure.

Notice that a large rock appears to be loose and or without support. It looks like the rock is supporting the trail above. Someone should take a closer look at that rock. In heavy rain it could come down. It looks unstable.... |
