Take a hike on the Deacon Lee Trail; do visit Jewel Lake, it's a wonderful lake. There's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and a short spree to Cold Spring is always worthwhile. Gem Lake is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. Be careful coming to the Klamath Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. After a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Yreka is a good place to spend a night or two. Summer at Gem Lake

| | comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's; night lows in the 30's for Gem Lake. a look at striking Summit Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Scott River, and Bridge Flat Campground is a nice local campground. Yeah, come up here to the Klamath Mountains for a glorious time.
The Tanners Peak Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not camp at Spring Flat Campground if you're here at Gem Lake.
