An average amount of precipitation falls at Gem Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and June is when it's the driest. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area near Gem Lake has to offer. Since you're here at Gem Lake why not stop by Agnew Pass; going for a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 2 is always a perfect adventure. Summertime highs at Gem Lake frequently tend to       be in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Gem Lake. Having a perfect time in the Central Sierra Nevada is simple. There's some flowing water nearby, Crest Creek is a stream you can stop by while you're here; a good location to camp here at Gem Lake is Grant Lake Marina-campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra                  Nevada. A splendid close by hotel is Heidelberg Inn; Gem Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Trailer Park Campground is a pleasant local campground. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. Good hiking is available along the Mammoth Rock Trail, and tremendous skiing awaits you at June Mountain. Go for a hike on the Gaylor Lakes Trail; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Mammoth Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant visit to Spooky Meadow is a nice way to spend an afternoon, and whitewater paddling is good on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork. This lake is so wonderful.
