    The beauty of Gaylor Lakes is reason enough to stop by. So many enjoyable things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. Gaylor Lakes is a wonderful place to camp, Tioga Campground is a wonderful place; a tremendous close by hotel is Heidelberg Inn. The top of Gaylor Peak is easily made out from Gaylor Lakes, and you can stay the night at Junction Campground. Not much rainfall falls here at Gaylor Lakes; January is when you get the most snow  
   here, and October is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12, and after a long day outdoors Yosemite Gateway Motel is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. This place, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Going for a hike on the Gaylor Lakes Trail is always a fine adventure, and Mine Creek is in the neighborhood of Gaylor Lakes and is always a diversion
 
               to check out. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! Gaylor Lakes is excellent! You have to undeniably dedicate some time to Dana Meadows if you're here at Gaylor Lakes, and there are good sites to discover along the John Muir Trail - section 2.
While you're here at Gaylor Lakes, you could also explore striking Fantail Lake, and you can run the rapids of Tenaya Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Near Gaylor Lakes you discover good spots like Glacier Canyon, and hey, Gotta ski right? June Mountain is a fine place to do that. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada.
High temperatures at Gaylor Lakes during the summertime are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 30's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Gaylor Lakes tend to be in the 0's.
