This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm sites, why not go to Fantail Lake in the vicinity of Gaylor Lakes; if you came to camp Junction Campground is a tremendous location to do that. Very beautiful scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at June Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is good here at Gaylor Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Gaylor Lakes Trail, and a great location for whitewater       paddling is Tenaya Creek. Summertime at Gaylor Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 30's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's; night lows at Gaylor Lakes through the wintertime usually drop into the 0's. Yosemite Gateway Motel is a good place to get some rest, and the John Muir Trail - section 2 is a delightful hiking trail nearby. At Gaylor Lakes you can spot Gaylor Peak, and a spree to Dana Meadows revives the                  soul. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Gaylor Lakes is mostly a relatively arid location; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest month of the year is October. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you need a location to stay Heidelberg Inn is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Gaylor Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Tioga Campground is a delightful spot for that. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Near Gaylor Lakes you find the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12 which is a great hiking trail; you could always explore Glacier Canyon. This site, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors amusing things.
