A visit to Gate Lake is always a good idea. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Gate Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 90's; the night is a bit chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Gate Lake. The summit of Black Marble Mountain can be made out from Gate Lake, and get dripping wet paddling on Salmon River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Near Gate Lake you hit upon splendid places like Sky High Valley, and a trip to Gate Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Cold Spring. Lake called the Deacon Lee Trail; swing by Big Rock Fork it's a great location to go to. While you're here at Gate Lake you can take a hike along the Garden Gulch Trail, and after a long day outdoors Baymont Inn Yreka is a delightful
spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Gate Lake is a magnificent location to camp, Spring Flat Campground is a magnificent location, and Death Valley is a pretty spot any time of year. This lake is located in the
wonderful Klamath Mountains. Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are beyond doubt abundant here at Gate Lake. Paddling on Klamath River is so much fun. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Gate Lake has to offer,
you can camp at Bridge Flat Campground. Gate Lake gets a good deal of water; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
